I would like to tell about two of the constantly updated sites that I had the greatest advantage of during my first months on the road to becoming stand-up comedian.
On Komikaze.se writing club host and stand-up comedian Mike Räsänen about very much is happening in Swedish stand-up world, not least on the rookie front. Obviously, much of the material related to Mike's own clubs and events, but as much about other stand-up related - interesting for both stand-up lovers and comedians themselves. Here I have for example read backwards in the recent reports from the beginner contest Bungee Comedy, to yourself be a little prepared for my participation in the spring. For those who have already taken the stand-up course, there is also the option of paying a smaller amount for access to member pages, where there is plenty of updated information on all Swedish stand-up clubs and other things that are good for rookies to feel added.
Mats Andersson is a stand-up comedian and drives including tanning Comedy Club in Malmo. Ever since he debuted in February 2007, he has written about his gig - what was good and bad, and what lessons he had drawn. To me that's new to stand-up world, it is both useful and inspiring to be in retrospect - and as much detail - able to follow a comedian's first four years and over 280 gigs.
On Twitter are Mike @ KomikazeMike - and Mats called @ standup attention .
