Yesterday I drove my show, "The hunt for gold star" for the second time. After the premiere of Boulevard Theatre I was now in the theater Improvisation & Co's super cozy room in Hagagatan in Stockholm. I was a little safer and tighter yesterday compared to the premiere, but I was perhaps not quite as nervous as when I ran the first time. Maybe it was the only security that led to the adrenaline rush not to the same extent.
65 people can fit around the small tables that are right next to the stage down in the basement theater at Hagagatan. I had about 20 people in the audience and I was honestly a little worried that it would be too few to reach a sufficient volume of laughter. But it actually went very well - there was even a bit enjoyable and personally in this way. And it feels good to know for the future, that the show can be implemented even when the audience is not so great. Now I have certainly no immediate plans to see the show again, at least not in Stockholm. But maybe it pops up a request and then of course I'm ready. In the meantime, I will work with other parallel projects at stand-up front.
One who came and watched the show yesterday was a stand-up comedian Tore Kullgren (see him happy in Copycat Singers on TV3). He reviewed my show, and come with many interesting observations and thoughts. This was a review that is both warm and concerned.
